Overview
  • This device combines the advantages of a plate heat exchanger and a shell heat exchanger
Characteristics
  1. The shell & plate heat exchanger is suitable for use at high pressures and temperatures without gasket replacement, so maintenance costs are minimized.
  2. Structurally stable because no gasket is necessary, as the fluids difficult to seal with a rubber gasket, such as strong acid, alkalinity, or steam, are completely welded.
  3. The required installation space is small and the device is very light, making the shell & tube heat exchanger easy to replace.
  4. Since heat transfer is performed through a very thin transfer plate, hot and cold fluids mutually exchange heat through the channel formed by the heat transfer plate, making high heat exchange efficient.
